That's what one woman we supported told us.
In the last year alone, we've helped hundreds of women feel heard, get the help they need and start to rebuild their lives after domestic abuse. Stories like hers are the motivation that keeps us going, keeps us building our services, and keeps us raising money to do more.
Behind every number is a human being whose story deserves to be told. Here's just one of those stories, from a woman Sistah Space was there for when she needed it most:
